Terms of use
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the ANOAthlete app. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Who we are
The app is provided by ANOAthlete (“we”, “us”). Contact us at support@anoathlete.com.
What the app does
ANOAthlete lets you log workouts, build or import training programmes, and see personal bests and goals. Some features use AI to read documents you upload.
Not medical or coaching advice
The app is a logging and planning tool. It does not give medical advice, and nothing in it is a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist or qualified coach. Exercise carries risk. Check with a professional before starting or changing a training programme, and stop if you feel unwell or in pain. You are responsible for how you train.
AI-generated content
Schedules extracted by AI may contain mistakes, such as missing days, wrong numbers or misread exercises. The app asks you to review a schedule before saving it. Check everything before you rely on it.
Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password safe.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can use the app in guest mode without an account, but some features need one.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account.
Your content
You keep ownership of the documents and information you add. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run the app for you, including sending a document for AI extraction when you ask us to. Only upload content you have the right to use, and do not upload anything unlawful or that you are not allowed to share.
Using the app properly
You agree not to:
- misuse the app, attempt to break into it, or disrupt it or its servers;
- use it to upload harmful, unlawful or infringing content;
- use automated tools to send large volumes of requests, including to the AI features;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
We may limit or suspend access if the app is misused, or to protect other users or our service providers.
Your data on your device
Workouts and logs are stored on your phone. If you delete the app, lose your phone or delete your account, that information may be lost and we cannot restore it.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the app running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features, and we may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for harm that results from how you choose to train. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud, and your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
Apple
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard licensed application end-user licence agreement also applies. These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts.
